Meet our Principals

Welcome to Jefferson Elementary School! 

Our school is made up of dynamic staff, dedicated families, involved community members, and approximately 600 energetic students who fill our halls with bright smiles and curiosity. I am honored to serve as Principal at Jefferson and to be part of this supportive community focused on doing “whatever it takes to achieve high levels of learning for all.” 

During my 20+ years in education, I’ve taught in elementary and middle schools in South Dakota and Minnesota. I had the pleasure of being an Instructional Coach and Associate Principal for RPS prior to 2018 when I began serving as the Jefferson Principal. Each experience has blessed me with positive relationships, enriching learning experiences, and the reassurance that working with children, families, and educators is undoubtedly what I want to do each day. I am blessed with a husband Eric and three children who continue to remind me that there’s always more to learn as a parent and educator.
